Miki Amrita, the voice and the stand behind NVC Singapore, is the 1st and only CNVC certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer in Singapore. Her unique approach to combining communication intelligence to enhance leadership and foster connection is at the forefront of an emerging Compassionate Leadership Movement in Singapore.

Shiho SADAKANE

Shiho joined NVC Singapore as a lead trainer for the children program and children curriculum developer in 2018. She is passionate about introducing the spirit of Nonviolence to children, adults who work with children and to educational institutions, thereby passing on the language of peace to the next generation.

Yian HUANG
Trainer
Yian’s obsession with Compassionate Communication stems from the fact that he feels he is very bad at it. To master this skill, he currently facilitates 2–3 NVC courses a week, co-leads a “ManCave” men’s circle in Singapore currently in Season 7, and co-moderates a “forum” of 8 people at YPO (Young Presidents Organisation). Yian is quite “nerdy”, and being a nerd, understands that once something like effective communication can be learnt and systemised, he masters it and systemises and teaches it effectively and passionately to help others along the same path.
Yian was formerly a management consultant at Bain & Co in San Francisco, and brings this method of systemisation and structure to all that he does. He has been awarded the Sword of Honour in the Singapore Army for his leadership skills. He was educated at Wharton Business School and Columbia University, and prior to that grew up in Singapore.

Mayuko specializes in Empathic Listening at NVC Singapore. Mayuko excels at creating spaces where people can feel a sense of security. With an emphasis on creating deep connections through communication, she currently offers her own services based on empathic listening and serves as one of our trainers. She has completed NVC Essentials Training with Miki Amrita.

Mayuko VERMEULEN

Mayuko is a certified Singing Bowl Practitioner, a Yoga teacher, and a NVC Practitioner. Mayuko strongly believes in keeping the balance between body, mind, heart and soul. She aims to create a warm sacred space within us and help people align with the present moment. Her healing and learning spaces have been well received by corporate warriors. She has completed NVC Essentials Training with Miki Amrita.
